when my kids grow up i want to go chase tornadoes in oklahoma. or move to cape cod. but for now, i'm just gonna hang in the desert, enjoy the good life, see how many different colors i can paint my walls, hope for shooting stars and lucky pennies and kisses in the rain, and do everything humanly possible to keep my kids happy, healthy, and far away from drugs.

I don't get it... is that a trick question?
Are you expecting the classical evolutionary answer:
"Shark, the apex predator of the aquatic food chain, evolved millions of years ago when land life forms were still relativley simple...."
Or is this like some ancient chinese addage, like:
"What is the sound of one hand clapping?"
Or is it really just some dumb question that has no answer but still boggles the mind to formulate one, like:
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
Or is it just a Boss/Chapman lyric reference?

we would LOVE to, but we're buying a house and it's taking up our available funds. we miss cali and always will; we miss you and always will. you should hear how fondly shan talks about you and the kids; it would bring a tear to your eye.

san francisco, davis, chico, mt. shasta...gotta end up on the side of a mountain in the sacramento river. with snakes. 74 days.
buying a house though...congrats! are you decorating your bedroom around the quilt? wow...your kids need quilts. you should tell me their colors. in 74 days i will have nothing to do but quilt.
i miss you guys a ton. someday soon we'll have to get together and drink lots of beer.
