So I mighta lost the house (long story that I won't blog cuz I'm sick of talking about it) but I won a whole buncha money tonight, thanks to Colin's superb shooting.

when my kids grow up i want to go chase tornadoes in oklahoma. or move to cape cod. but for now, i'm just gonna hang in the desert, enjoy the good life, see how many different colors i can paint my walls, hope for shooting stars and lucky pennies and kisses in the rain, and do everything humanly possible to keep my kids happy, healthy, and far away from drugs.

sorry to hear about the house...if it's any consolation, the first house we were in the process of buying fell through, but the one we ended up getting was better!
that's where i'm at...everything that seems like it's really awesome probably isn't, and the next thing to come along probably is better.
and anyway, we really want a pool.
